Brief description

The patented way of transmission coefficients measurement infrared (IR) radiation through paper web (cardboard) on measuring and reference wavelengths is realized in the infrared moisture sensor of paper web (cardboard) "A 327".

  • The measuring and reference wavelengths are selected in ranges of 1.3 – 2.3 microns or 3 - 4 microns, depending on the paper web weight. The sensor "A 327" within an operating range of ambient temperature is not sensitive to its changing due to high stability of photoresistor energy characteristic, provided by thermoelectric microprocessor system of thermostating and air blowing.

    The moisture and paper weight sensor "A 327" consists of a microprocessor unit (for processing and indication), infrared emitter, the microprocessor receiver unit and a power unit. Emitter and receiver units are mounted on the bracket on the opposite sides of paper web.
